Why Visit Shinjuku

3 REASONS TO COME

World’s Busiest Station

Guinness-certified at 2.7 million passengers per day across 11 lines and 5 operators. Once you crack Shinjuku’s layout, the rest of Tokyo feels easy.

Two Faces in One District

West side — corporate skyscrapers and a free 202m observation deck. East side — Kabukicho neon, postwar yakitori alleys, and Shinjuku Golden Gai jazz bars. Both are 5–10 minutes on foot from the same gates.

Department Store Heaven

Isetan, Takashimaya, Lumine — the basement food halls (depachika) alone are worth half a day. Tax-free counters at every flagship store for tourists.
